What is Dewatering?
Dewatering is the process of removing groundwater or surface water from, for example, an excavation area or project site. (Solid material, soil or site.) Pumps, wells, draining and filtering are used to temporarily or permanently remove or divert groundwater or lower the water table to create dry, safe and accessible ground conditions, reduce waste volume or prevent ground collapse.
For excavation sites, construction, building foundations, basements, deep trenches or whatever you need to achieve. Client requirements vary hugely. Remediation treats and/or cleans the water.

Dewatering Services

Wellpoint Dewatering
Involves placing a series of small, closely spaced pipes (wellpoints) into the ground.
Connected to a vacuum pump continuously drawing water out of the ground.
Deep Well Dewatering
Uses a ring of drilled wells equipped with submersible pumps (electric), extracting groundwater away from the work area.
Creating dry, stable and safe excavation sites.
Ejector / Eductor
Systems
Uses high pressure water pushed through a nozzle and vacuum chamber to draw groundwater out. When standard pumps can’t reach deep enough, or the soil is impermeable for regular wells.
Horizontal Dewatering
Used for shallow, long, and linear projects. As opposed to digging numerous vertical wells, heavy-duty machines bury perforated drainpipes horizontally in trenches. Connected pipes extract the water.
